Ali Muharram is a Yemeni-American peace and humanitarian advocate who was born in Yemen and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.T.) in Computer Systems from City University of New York, and an AAS degree in Applied Mathematics in Microcomputer Business Systems. He is a Systems Engineer by profession and a volunteer Chaplain with the New York State Chaplains Task Force.
Ali is the other co-founder of Humanity for Relief and Development, Inc. and currently serves as the Treasurer. He is also a volunteer with the American Red Cross NYC region area. Ali is also a volunteer EMS and is American Heart Association CPR / AED Certified.
Ali has volunteered in with other organizations in a broad range of projects, including feeding the homeless and transforming homes. He has a passion for helping people, so he volunteers most of his time in the hope of improving the livelihoods of the people in Yemen. He also serves as the Web and Technical Liaison for HRD projects.
